Progressive Engineering Technologies Corporation (PET Corp) President and CEO, John Reed, has been actively engaged in the invention and development of pressure sensing technologies since 1987. PET Corp was incorporated in 1991, with its primary activity as portable automated traffic data collection services. Applying sensor technologies under development, PET Corp worked to develop and successfully implement highly effective data collection technologies, procedures and techniques, with a concentration on addressing and overcoming the obstacles common in achieving accuracy in the "trouble area" of high speed, high volume, multi-lane, traffic data collection.
Technologies developed have wide ranging application potential including transportation, homeland security, agriculture, medicine, retailing, and sports.
